Black Gate Farms Produce

CatieJo Black and her family aren’t just in the strawberry and pumpkin growing business, they are in the memory-making business. She dreams of families from her community coming to pick berries together in the warmer months, followed by tiny hands helping mothers make freezer jam to store away for pieces of strawberry-topped toast. Those same families would later bundle up in their Autumn-best for a special day trip to pick out the perfect pumpkins. After CatieJo’s father passed away, she knew it was time to make that dream a reality. I was honored to design a brand that she knew would make her father smile.

“We had been trying to create a logo for our farm ourselves and through less expensive/higher production sites, and nothing was right.
