CatieJo Black and her family aren’t just in the strawberry and pumpkin growing business, they are in the memory-making business. She dreams of families from her community coming to pick berries together in the warmer months, followed by tiny hands helping mothers make freezer jam to store away for pieces of strawberry-topped toast. Those same families would later bundle up in their Autumn-best for a special day trip to pick out the perfect pumpkins. After CatieJo’s father passed away, she knew it was time to make that dream a reality. I was honored to design a brand that she knew would make her father smile.

“We had been trying to create a logo for our farm ourselves and through less expensive/higher production sites, and nothing was right. We finally decided to truly invest in finding someone who knew what to do and came across @creativesbycourtney last month. She’s an NC small business as well, and that made it even better. If you need a logo or help with creating a brand, please contact her!!! Her turnaround time was great, communication was excellent, and she didn’t mind the million and one questions we threw at her way too often. Courtney was able to create a brand for us that we had little direction on ourselves. While we knew sort of what we wanted, we definitely did not have a true direction.. yet, Courtney rocked it out for us!! In addition to the main logo, she also supplied numerous files of slightly different styles, some all color, some one-color, some with just text, and others with images.. as well as other marketing elements!
